By Zhen Lin This is a short interactive game I designed for Primary 3 students — it’s called 《小乐的一天》. The game is a train-themed storytelling activity, where students follow a cheerful train conductor to explore what Xiao Le does on her birthday — in the morning, afternoon, and evening. In each scene, students see a set of emoji pictures and answer four guiding questions: When did it happen? Where was she? Who was she with? And what were they doing? They choose the correct answers — for example, 🌞🏫👧👦🎵 represents “上午 – 学校 – 同学 – 唱生日歌.” (I used emojis instead of real images because the we can’t upload pictures.) The goal is to help students describe a picture using the four key elements — 时间、地点、人物、事情 — which supports 段落小练笔 (paragraph writing) and builds observation, sequencing, and sentence skills in a fun way. The game gives friendly feedback — correct answers light up the scene with a “叮!” sound, while wrong answers show a gentle hint. When students complete all three scenes, the train moves forward with fireworks and the message “太棒了!你完成了小乐的一天!”
