About this Simulation

This interactive simulation models radioactive decay, allowing learners to observe how parent nuclei spontaneously transform into daughter products over time. By adjusting parameters and visualizing decay curves, students explore exponential decay patterns, decay rates, and the relationship between initial population and remaining nuclei.

Learning objectives: Understand the exponential nature of radioactive decay | Relate decay rate to half-life and nuclear stability | Predict remaining parent nuclei after specific time intervals
