About this Simulation

The Geiger Reader App allows learners to measure and visualize radioactive decay using a connected Geiger detector. Students can observe radiation counts in real time, analyze frequency patterns, and explore how background radiation varies. The simulation processes detector signals through audio analysis to generate live data visualization and statistical insights about nuclear radiation.

Learning objectives: Understand how Geiger detectors measure ionizing radiation and decay rates | Analyze real-time radiation data and interpret statistical patterns | Investigate the relationship between radioactive sources and detector response signals
