About this Simulation

This interactive simulation demonstrates how light behaves when multiple sources illuminate objects with varying intensities. Learners can adjust three independent light sources, modify their brightness, and place masks or slits between the light and screen to observe real-time shadow patterns and light interactions.

Learning objectives: Understand how light intensity affects shadow darkness and visibility | Investigate how obstacles and slits create diffraction and shadow boundaries | Explore the principles of light propagation from multiple sources
